ADRE Grade 3 Exam 2024: An Overview and Candidate Reactions

ADRE grade is a state level exam conducted by the commission for direct recruitment of several grades of workers and employees in the state of Assam. The selection test for recruitment of Grade 3, HSSLC-level posts was coptised on September 15, 2024. More than 1100000 candidates took the exam which was conducted in a single session from 1030 AM to 1330 PM only. Due to the overwhelming response this particular examination was one of the biggest in the history of Assam. Based on a qualitative analysis of the surveys, three top features characterized the paper Self-awareness, Feedback, Vision and Reflections; Candidates considered the paper to be of moderate difficulty overall and particularly easy in sections of English and Mathematics.

Exam Structure and Scored Candidate feedback
The ADRE Grade 3 exam featured five sections: General Education / Social Studies, General Information / Knowledge, Analytical Ability / Reasoning, and Numerical / Mental Aptitude, English Proficiency, and Mathematics. All the sections made 150 questions in total, thus, the exam paper was 150 mark in total with each question being awarded one mark. The time given for the exam was of three hours, and this enabled the candidates to try all parts of the examination.

Measures for Smooth Conduct
